Day 04 19 Mar 2017
We decided to drive around and explore more of Goa’s coastal gems, sampling local cuisine and enjoying laid-back moments at beach shacks and cozy restaurants.
Our first stops were Calangute and Baga beaches. They were busier and more crowded, but still enjoyable for a change of atmosphere. From there, we drove on to Vagator and Anjuna, passing through the lively flea market along the way.
One of the highlights of the trip was dining at the iconic Martin’s Corner in Colva — an absolute must-visit for anyone who loves authentic Goan flavours.
Now, Pratik isn’t the tallest person, so seeing him confidently manoeuvre the massive Kontiki through Goa’s narrow and winding roads often drew plenty of attention. Locals and tourists alike would stop and stare, amused and fascinated by both the vehicle and its fearless driver. Wherever we went, Kontiki became something of a showstopper.
