Soon after breakfast — and after cleaning the chalet thoroughly to Meera’s exacting standards — we set off on yet another long drive, this time covering 446 kilometres towards the vibrant city of Barcelona in Spain. The journey took us around six hours, with beautiful scenery along the way as we crossed the border and headed down the Mediterranean coast.

By early evening, we arrived at Camping 3 Estrellas, located just outside Barcelona and only a stone’s throw from the beach. The campsite was lively and well-equipped, offering a perfect mix of relaxation and holiday atmosphere. With its beachside location, shaded pitches, restaurant, bar, and easy access to Barcelona city centre, it proved to be an ideal base for our stay.

After settling in, we made our way to the Ramblers Bar by the beach, where we relaxed with a few chilled drinks while enjoying the cool sea breeze and watching the sun slowly dip towards the horizon. It was the perfect way to unwind after a long day on the road.

Back at the campsite, the ladies once again treated us to a delicious home-cooked fish curry that was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. Good food, refreshing drinks, and wonderful company brought another memorable day of our European adventure to a satisfying end.
