Day 11 – August 26th, 2008 – Glamour and Beaches
After enjoying the campsite pool and a hearty breakfast, we set out for Monte Carlo—a playground for the rich and famous. The sleek yachts, luxury cars, and the famed Casino de Monte-Carlo exuded opulence. And in a special highlight, we managed to arrange a Ferrari ride for our nephew, Kiran—an unforgettable thrill.
By afternoon, we drove to nearby Nice. We found a stunning parking spot right by the sea and railway line, joining other campers already basking under awnings. The warm weather made the beach irresistible, and we were soon swimming, playing, and sunbathing in the soft Mediterranean light.
Later, we strolled through the charming town centre, before heading back to Frejus. We lit up the barbeque once again, grilling chicken and sausages, clinking glasses of wine and beer under the starry sky. It was a day straight out of a postcard.
