Day 6 – August 21st, 2008 – The Floating City of Venice
We set off by boat to the magical city of Venice, a place with no roads—only canals and boats weaving between more than a hundred small islands. The history here is tangible, etched into every stone and shimmering reflection on the water.
Strolling through Venice felt like walking through a living museum. Bridges arched gracefully over canals, gondolas glided silently by, and the architecture seemed suspended in time. Words fall short—Venice is simply something you have to see to believe.
