Day 1: From Navsari to the Sea Route Adventure
Our journey began on a relaxed afternoon as we left Navsari at 12:45 PM, heading toward Hazira Port near Surat. The plan was exciting—skip long road hours and take the ferry to Ghogha.
The ferry ride, though practical in saving 4–5 hours of driving, turned out to be more functional than luxurious. A lesson learned: business class would have been worth it! After about 5½ hours, we reached Ghogha.
From there, we drove towards Alang, but nightfall forced us to find a stay. After some searching, we found a remote mountain resort—accessible only via dirt roads. The effort paid off. Quiet, scenic, and peaceful, it became one of those unexpected highlights. A simple but delicious dinner and the calm of nature set the tone for the journey ahead.
